I been trying to rip Office Space to my MacBook. However, I am getting a weird problem. VTS_01_1 to VTS_01_6 are all in English but for some reason VTS_01_3 Is in french???? I tried reripping it nothing worked. Is this just a problem with office Space.

Which version of the Office Space DVD? Original or a newer, special edition? Have you Googled around to see if other people are having this problem?

Which version of MTR? 2.6.6 or a newer 3.0 beta?

Answers to those questions might help a little, but my gut tells me that it's a problem with MTR's ability to properly read the disk...

My gut says that it's a disc with some new "tricks" to fool older rippers. See if you can't get your hands on the 3.0 beta of MTR from MTR's homepage (I think you have to donate a little $$ to the project to gain access, though), and try again.

That'd be my first suggestion.

You need the newest version. Go to www.ripdifferent.com and find geezerbutt (I think that's his SN). He wrote the program and you can get version r14 from him. New encryption work-arounds as well as other new features. That's what I'm using and I have yet to come across a DVD that it has a problem with.

What about Cars and Casion Royale? I know those were discs peppered with intentionally bad sectors intended to screw with DVD rippers...

I haven't tried Casino Royale but I have successfully ripped Cars with no problems.

R14 MTR is code to recognize bad sectors and "fix" them. It also 'shrinks' the DVD to DVD-R size so after you rip it you can burn it without using DVD2OneX or Popcorn or whatever. There are more features which I don't remember but it is a substantial improvement over 2.6.6. Well worth the money.
