The MacWorld Keynote is but 3 weeks away. Anybody want to participate in a guesstimate of what the announcements will be?
I'll go first:
Big announcement will be sales (Mac, iPod, iTunes Movies, Retail...)
10.5 Leopard walk-through. A couple of "Top Secret" features will be revealed and Time Machine will be a big feature presented. Delivery date may be announced, and it will be some time in late May/early June.
Mac Pro speed bumps and other small tweaks (video card, lightscribe DVD and Blueray support, etc...)
iLife 07 with iWeb 2.0 supporting multiple website out of the box. iMovie HD with more transitions and effects, iPhoto with mail.app inter-opperability tied to mail templates. New module- drawing app that uses the power of inkwell and allows incorporation of drawn content into iMovie, iDVD, iPhoto (See one more thing below)
iWork with a spreadsheet module and better iLife connectivity
New, smaller iSight that mounts on the Cinema Displays
iPod update with 100Gb drive replacing 80 and 60 replacing 30 at the same price points
iPod shuffle accessory (jacket, backpack, car dock, something kind of lame and expensive)
Oh and one more thing...An OS X tablet. It will be priced below existing Windows tablets and will target students and creative types. It will be based on the MacBook and have a 12-inch flip screen with an innovative swing-hinge mechanism.
That's it. Please note that I have no proof of any of these things, just making a guess.
