Hello all. I just wanted to bring this into discussion: Could Apple introduce the iPhone 5 at Macworld Asia on September 22nd? Is it absolutely necessary that Apple needs to hold an event here? I was just thinking that maybe they would announce the phone formally at Macworld and have a press release coincide the announcement here in the United States. Just a thought of mine, really. What do you all think?

After Macworld 2009 Apple stopped participate at that trade show.

Also, Apple has always made new product announcements in the US first.

I know. But the only reason I bring Macworld up is because of Case-mate's briefing on their upcoming iPhone 5 cases. Could they be wrong? yes, but it seemed pretty weird for them to mention Macworld if it had no significance at all to the iPhone..
