I was hoping that one of you know where I can get a copy of the 1997 Boston keynote. I was watching Pirates of Silicon Valley for the heck of it yesterday and saw that scene where those in attedance where shocked with Steve and Bill making a unholy alliance.

Well, I would just like to see the really thing in as best quailty as possible. I think that it is a priceless time for Apple.

If anyone can point me to the link or actually have the file, please let me know.

here's some pics.. it was a pretty good keynote actually... thoughtful words and what not..

I attended MacWorld Boston 1997, but didn't pay the extra allowing entrance to Keynote. Sadly I missed something historic. Thanks for the link.

my tracker is showing "no hosts" too. could somebody that has it please host it, that would be quite nice. there is another thread where a bunch of people have rounded up most wanted keynotes, that is the only one missing, i am sure they would like it too

silly me... nevermind, i should have been more patient, i have 41 peers and is downloading fine...

patience... i waited like 3 min before it started going.. so just kinda wait i guess you could say

That was great..
1. What happened to the sweater vest?
2. I think its funny to compare keynotes from then and now....they are very polished now. (And no one introduces Steve anymore).

I think a lot of people on this board need to watch to hear Steve's message about Microsoft....that the notion for Apple to win, Microsoft has to lose is over. For Apple to win, Apple has to do what it does best.

That was like the best keynote ever. The crowd cheered for like a minute when Steve walked on stage and there was loud booing when Microsoft was mentioned. My gawd, today's keynotes are so tame.

and steve said something along the lines of "and we here at apple think internet explorer is a really great browser" :p

That was a very emotional keynote. it comes to show that there really are a lot of very hard working people at apple. I think that keynote should be seen by all as it is a nice reminder of the 'dark ages' and how for we have come since.
