I want to attend my first MacWorld in 2009.

Here are some questions I have for now.

- Can I get a free pass? I don't want to spend $25 if I don't have to.
CES is free to anyone in the industry. Is MacWorld the same?

- MacLabs I want to attend as no longer on the sign-up list. Is there a way to get in?

- Is there FREE WiFi so I can watch the Keynotes (Gizmodo, Engadget) on my MacBook on the exhibit floor?

- What day is the Keynotes?

What else do I need to know? Thanks!

Good shoes. Hallmark a decent amount of money for the event. Comfortable cloths, light rain-coat. You will eat out the entire time, Rolaids or a reasonable factsimilie. Remember the chargers for your devices. Read up on the 2008 show, its at the top of the forum news.

Macworld San Francisco 2008

Free pass is usually only for the exhibit floor, not for workshops nor for keynote.

There is no live broadcast of keynote.

I was going to pay the $199 package, but the workshops/Maclabs I want to attend are all sold out. Is there a way to get in?

Is there free wifi there for me to catch Live Blogs of the Keynotes?
