Made Call No Bars- What Antenna Problem?

Made call with no bars. I cup in left hand bars go all the way down. I then place a call with bars all the way down. Call goes through and sounds good never drops.

So what is the problem here.

I don't have an issue either. I don't pay attention to the bars and even when there's hardly any service according to the phone it still works perfectly fine.

I think some people are squeezing it and purposely TRYING to make it show no service but in real world use it doesn't affect them. Just my two cents.

The problem is loading pages or checking email with 1 bar of 3G is as slow as edge. I'm glad my 3GS doesn't have this problem.
