iPod touch Made for iPod

I bought the iLive music system. It came with inserts that make it compatible with most iPods. But there wasn't one for my iPod touch 2g. Hmph. It said "Made for iPod". If it says that does it mean all iPod models but the iPod touch or something? I'm going out to get another speaker system tomorrow really don't wanna make that mistake again.

Probably because it was made before the 2G iPod touch was released.
