Mafia II Mac Main story mode crashing

Hello all.
My friend and I recently bought Mafia II only to find out that we can't play the main story mode and the only modes I could play is the Jimmy Series. Even when playing Jimmy's vendetta/Betrayal of Jimmy, the game crashes in the morning (game time). I don't know if other users are experiencing this but it doesn't seem too many people have this problem. Also, I can't get a report because the game doesn't recognize the problem.

I have a
[MBP 13` Late 2011]
[2.4 ghz intel core i5 processor]
[ 2 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 Memory]
[Intel HD Graphics 3000 288 MB Graphics]
Running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)

Contact Feral support and our support ninjas can look into it, it could be related to a bug Apple introduced in 10.7.5 on the HD3000.
