Mag safe wallet extremely inconvenient

I believe the MagSafe wallet is very inconvenient. If I'm using a credit card I have to pull out my phone pull the wallet off of my phone and sometimes it takes me a minute or two to slide a card out of the wallet. Is there any way to make the cards come out easier? I have two credit cards and a drivers license in the wallet and frequently I have to push through the hole in the back over and over again to remove a credit card. All this while standing at a grocery store counter.

Does anyone else experienced this kind of problem using the wallet?
 
The first couple of times I used it I had the same thought. My solution has been to just reach in my pocket and detach it from the phone there rather than pulling the phone out, detaching wallet, putting phone back in pocket and pushing cards out.

You'll get used to it.

As far as difficulty removing cards, I have my Apple Card, a debit card and my license and have no trouble whatsoever getting my card to come out on the first push.
 
I carry my phone and the wallet in a belt pouch or holster. It's not possible to remove the wallet without taking the phone out. That means I hold the phone in my hand while I'm trying to slip out the cards. Which adds to the difficulty. Then I reattach the wallet and put both back into the holster. When I'm inserting the card into the card reader I have both the phone and the wallet in my hand. It's quite an amazing feat that I am able to do it at all without dropping the whole thing.
 
Yeah, that's one of the reasons I didn't like it and returned it. I hated having to remove the wallet to get a card out. Everyone is different. Some people don't mind and love the wallet. To each their own.
 
Yep, leave in pocket to detach. I’m finding more and more places using ApplePay though, so I hardly use my card anymore.

Do the 3rd party ones come with shielding? I found one on eBay but I’m not sure if the shielding is a big deal. I’d only carry my license and 2 chip cards in it.
