Any way of getting Motortrend or Car and Driver for free... I downloaded the app for free trial and it just shows monthly magazines with a price of $4.99..

Any free car magazines for the ipad?

One thing to remember, the magazine apps are free but most of them require you to purchase the issues monthly or by a subscription. Some will even give you free access if you already get the print version.

There's a thread around here that lists the free magazines. Let me see if I can find it.

Here it is, but I don't see any car magazines in there. You may browse it and see if anyone has found any. If you didn't know, C&D can be subscribed to for 1.99 a month or 19.99 a year instead of paying the 4.99 per issue. You can also cancel anytime, so you can try it for a couple months and cancel if you don't want to pay for it anymore.

thanks for the reply.. i may just spring for the $20 year subscribtion...

I normally get the print versions for C&D and Motor Trend for Free from the car forum Im on but nothing has come up recently...
