I currently have the Apple Wireless Keyboard to use with my rMBP with whilst its docked, I find it quite easy to switch between this keyboard and the one built into the Mac when I'm using it outside the office.

Considering getting the new Magic Keyboard 2, but after trying it, the key spacing makes me wonder if it is going to be difficult to continually switch between the two keyboards and whether I'm better off keeping what I have.

Is anyone doing something similar, would be interested to hear how you're getting on.

I'm using both the new magic keyboard and the built in keyboard on my 2011 MacBook Pro and I haven't had an issue switching between them at all. Yes there is a noticeable difference in travel but it's not an issue.
