I purchased a magic keyboard 2 / mouse 2 combo from eBay, listed as new.

They arrived this evening, the box was open but keyboard / mouse were still wrapped in the protective packaging.

Is there anyway to check the battery life of these products like you can check on iPhones?

Thanks

Once you connect to the Mac, it should show the battery level for each under the respective Settings category.

Thanks for your reply.

I can see the battery %.

I just want to know how good the battery is / how many charges it’s had etc.

I know the listing said new, just want to check - if that’s even possible with Apple accessories.

You can't see cycles on accessories. If the battery is good, it should last a a week or more before needing to charge (depending on length of daily use etc.).
