I partially spilled a beer on my Magic Keyboard. I shook it off and wiped it down as fast as I could. It still works except for a couple of sticky keys.

Is there anything I can do to unstick the keys? Would a bit of alcohol poured into the works cause further damage? Any suggestions?

Just let it dry out for a while longer and it may return to normal. The problem with a beer spill is all the ingredients that are contained within the beer which can cause the stickiness. I would not pour alcohol into the keyboard as that will likely result in more damage.

Thanks for the response. Yeah, I'll just leave it and hope for the best. I'm glad it still works but the feel is messed up a bit by the stickiness on some keys, particularly the enter/<CR> key.

Hi i done the same last night and my space bar and n key are sticky, did yours get better?
It did. I've just kept using it and the affected keys have mostly loosened up. A few of them I still have to hit a little harder because I just don't use them as much, for example the right hand shift key.

I took it back to the place I bought it in the uk 14 months ago and they have arranged a swap out free so happy days :)

If you want "the magic" back, perhaps it's time for a new keyboard.
And less beer...
