Magic Keyboard - certain gestures not working

It’s a 3 or 4 finger swipe up to go home. There is no pinch to go home, crap looked impossible on the little trackpad lol.
I had the same problem. The solution is very simple, you just need to go to Settings and enable multitouch gestures. I had disabled the “four fingers on the screen swiping to the left to change apps” because it used to be a hassle with gaming. Turns out that that settings ALSO disable the three fingers swipe on the Magic Keyboard.
Let me know if you have any doubts.
If you go to the home screen and drag two fingers down, that bring up the search. Or you can use CMD + Spacebar.
I just can't get it to work. Driving me nuts. The keyboard shortcut does work though.
I should point out I'm talking about the trackpad on the Magic Keyboard. It still works via the screen too.
I dont know if its a bug, but i’ve just had the same issue with the magic keyboard. Everything was working fine yesterday. Today, trackpad gestures didn’t seem to work, I removed the ipad from the keyboard and placed it back on And it’s didn’t resolve the issue. I then unplugged the USB charger from the pass through port. Removed the keyboard and put it back and its all now working as expected.
Can someone please check this for me on the Magic Keyboard?
When I go into 1Password to try and highlight some text to copy and paste, I cannot click and drag with the cursor to select the text I want to copy and paste. The particular text area I am trying to click and, drag and right click to copy seems to move all at once, like you are trying to drag a picture to another location. In I am not sure if this is a iPadOS 14 bug or not.
Edited to add: Using the Magic Trackpad on my Mac mini with the same app and procedure works as it always has.

If I understand your question, the click and drag to select and then right-click to copy, it works fine for me in various apps (including Safari with your post) on my MK. Were you asking specifically whether it works in 1Password?

Correct. Pick the note section in a login and see if you can click, drag to select all text from said area, without opening the full note, and then right click to copy. I can’t get that procedure to work in 1Password note area. I can get it to work if I open the complete note, instead of trying to highlight a section that is already visible, like I can on my Mac.

Did this persist..I find it odd that having natural scrolling turned OFF would make the regular two finger pull down gesture on the Home Screen for search be reversed.. I had one of these when they first came out and I don’t recall that issue.. now with a replacement unit it’s setup like this and it drives me crazy!
I recently bought an iPad 12.9 and had the same issue of 3 finger swipe not working.
Them I went to Setting-General-Getures and enabled Four & Five finger swipe and it worked like a charm. Now I can swipe up with 3 fingers on trackpad of the smart keyboard and it takes me to home screen.
Hope that works for others having the same issue
I see this thread is a few years old but I have this problem still. It’s not as extreme as gestures not working at all, the work but they take quite a bit of effort. I noticed using the pencil helps a lot, but I don’t always have it near or want to use it. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
