My virtual on-screen keyboard on my 2020 iPad Air (4th gen) keeps popping up and taking up half the screen even though I’m using my Magic Keyboard.
If I press the keyboard circumflex key on the on-screen keyboard, the keyboard hides but the cursor also disappears and my Magic Keyboard won't type. Then I need to click on the spot where I wanted to type and the onscreen keyboard returns.
I've looked at other posts that recommend going to AssistiveTouch in accessibility settings and turning off either AssistiveTouch or the "show Onscreen Keyboard", but this unfortunately did not fix the problem. AssistiveTouch was actually already turned off when I checked, but playing around with this setting didn't help. Neither has a hard restart.
It would be great to be able to see the lower half of my iPad screen while I'm typing.
Thanks for any help!
