I havent used my mbp for a few weeks, today I turned it on but it doesn't want to find my keyboard. The green light on the keyboard is flashing, I can use the magic trackpad fine but not the keyboard

any ideas what's wrong?

If you go to System Preferences > Bluetooth, what does it say underneath the keyboard name? If it is not connected, click the little settings icon at the bottom and select Connect. If that fails, try deleting the connection from this window and then re-pairing through clicking the + icon here. It's possible something has gone awry with the pairing.

I have but it's not finding it

edit: I removed the connection but it still cant find the keyboard ;/

I cant even turn the keyboard off :S

edit: my ipad2 cant find it either :S

last time it worked was the day I updated to 10.6.8.... I'll try Apples batteries, but if that doesn't work, should I call apple care?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)

My money is on dead batteries.

turns out the batteries were dead ;/ I think the LED should change to red when that happens.... really confusing

Yellow/red LEDs on the wireless peripherals would be great! The blinking Bluetooth logo is easy to miss. Maybe this can be a change when new devices come out with revised Lion Mission Control/Launch Pad icons.

I haven't used it for a while, so it drained while it was off/ on standby. That's why I missed the OSX notification :( Last time I checked it was close to 100%
