Hi!
I’m a begginer to the MAC world so I need some help 😁, I just bouhgt a Magic Keyboard (A1644) for my mid 2014 iMac (Big Surr).

My problem is when I press the ENTER key it types ], there are some keys that don’t worck at all

I don’t know if it counts but the iMac is from Germany and the Magic Keyboard is from Netherland, I played with the layout and with te region but nothing.

I have a wired QWERTZ Apple keyboard and it works proprely.

Is the keyboard broken or is there a setting I should do?

Try bluetooth pairing the keyboard with another device, like iPhone or iPad. (Disconnect the bluetooth connection to iMac first). You can google how to do this. Pretty sure you can pair it to Android also.
If it is still faulty, it is likely a faulty keyboard

Connect the keyboard to the iMac via the Lightning cable, go into System Preferences > Keyboard and see what language is set up and it may still be set up for Dutch. If the language is changed maybe it will pair with the iMac. Use Bluetooth Preferences in the Menu Bar to do this.

Hi! Thank you for youre answers. I connected it to a Windows PC and the same problem. The seller agreed to change the product.
