Magic Keyboard Touch ID not Compatible with Catalina

I bought the new Magic Keyboard with Touch ID for my Macbook Pro Mid 2012 which runs MacOS Catalina and tested it.

A lot of people said that only the Touch ID won't work.

It's not only the Touch ID that does not work, the function keys don't work either or not correctly (F11 for lower volume is wrongfully mapped to mission control).

I got the newest keyboard because I was thinking of upgrading soon. I did a video about it which you can check out:

Its system requirements do say "Mac with Apple silicon using macOS 11.4 or later", but maybe you knew that and just wanted to test it. At least you'll be able to use it when you upgrade.
