So I had both the Magic Keyboard with TouchID (White - Without Keypad & Space Grey - With Keypad) and I can comfortably say that they feel DIFFERENT.

I feel like the keypadless one have less key travel, and the keys are harder to press (more similar to the MX Keys). Does anyone else can concur here?

I don’t have feedback about the comparison you have made but I can tell my old wired keyboard with numeric keypad feels different than my new one with Touch ID (and numeric keypad). I liked the feel of the old keyboard better but that Touch ID is so nice, I think I’ll get used to the new keyboard.

I don't think either of Apple's keyboards (with our without numbered keypad) feel anything like MX Keys. Apple's keyboards don't offer enough travel and I hate typing on them. MX Keys are excellent with great travel, feedback, and not to mention backlighting.

Surpringly I thought the MX Keys has too much force and does not feel as comfortable to type on compared to the Magic Keyboard

So I asked someone from the Apple Store at the Genius Bar and she confirmed the difference between both keyboards in terms of feel. She said not many people are aware including at Apple because Apple does not communicate this to the staff (probably only the engineers / manufacturers know).
