I'm having an annoying problem with my new keyboard with an M1 MacBook Air. On a frequent basis Touch ID stops working. When this happens the green LED on the caps lock key also stops working. I found that if I disconnect the keyboard via the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar and then reconnect it, both functions start working immediately again. I also noticed the same problem with my previous Magic Keyboard without Touch ID though that of course only affected the caps lock key.
Any ideas?
