Magic keyboard with TouchID in Space Grey

Has anyone heard some rumors on a space grey magic keyboard.
Would love a magic keyboard for my setup (which is all space grey) -
so the silver one just won't cut it.

Sorry. Apple would first like you to buy one in the color that you don't like. Then later when they release the Space Grey they would also like you to purchase that as well. Apple shareholders appreciate you!

I contributed too many times that way to Apples share price - let's hope they release it quickly

Imagine if it came in space grey and without a numpad. I think I might die of joy.

But then again imagine if they released it and didn't release a new matching space grey trackpad. The horror.

I genuinely love/hate Apple. Playing with my emotions like that.

I think the old trackpad still fits - only for touchID you would need the new keyboard

I want a Space Grey Touch ID keyboard so badly too! ? Honestly I am not holding my breathe for this. The iMac Pro was announced Dec 2017 and Apple started selling the standalone keyboards/ trackpad March 2018. It's looking like the new iMac Pro will be announced Spring 2022. Who knows how long they will wait (if ever) to sell the keyboard separately.

Dec. 2017 to March 2018 is only 4 months. If the iMac Pro comes out early Spring 2022 hopefully we get the space grey peripherals sold separately by mid-summer.

Lol, I couldn't wait any longer. I pulled the trigger on a space gray Logi MX Keys for Mac. I still prefer the Magic Keyboard, but the MX Keys has been good so far..the quality is very good. So annoying that Apple won't let the space gray Magic Keyboard out of the bag yet. At the very least, there should always be white and space gray available in any Apple keyboard, trackpad, or mouse.

I almost broke down and bought a white TouchID keyboard today but couldn't bring myself to do it. I have the space grey numeric + trackpad for 2 years. Great combo, looks so good on my desk with the new MacBook Pro:

I am hopeful that once the new 27" higher-end iMac (Pro) comes out this Spring, they will release the separate colored peripherals right away. Like they did with the new multi-colored 24" M1 iMacs - the Touch ID keyboards were available pretty much right away.

I too would love a Space Gray Touch ID keyboard to go with my new 14" Space Gray M1 Pro MBP, which I often use closed clamshell into a 27" external 4K monitor. Before that for last 5 years it was the 2016 13" Space Gray MBP.

I've had Space Gray / Graphite for basically every Apple device since the beginning (iPhone 13 Pro, 2018 11" iPad Pro, Apple Watch S5). But I'm still using the regular white Apple Magic Keyboard / Trackpad 2 that I've had for 5yrs too. Held out this long, just waiting for them to offer a refresh in the SG peripherals!
