Hi so iv been using the magic keyboard for a week and im loving it but,
does anyone have this problem where whilst using the magic keyboard your wrist hurts? Im trying to adjust to the smaller trackpad and my wrist starts to ache, iv never had this problem with any other device before. If anyone has any solutions that would be great help.

i am guessing it is because the trackpad is so much smaller? Im honestly not too sure

i have the 12.9 inch ipad btw
Thank you

You may need to adjust the height of your Magic Keyboard, so that feels at a more natural angle for hands.

I normally use it on the sofa and put a pillow underneath, the problem still persists for some reason. However when i use my old macbook air I dont have this problem. Its very strange and confusing me!

I've got the same issue when the iPad is on a laptop desk, on my lap, sitting on a couch. My solution was to link a regular Apple trackpad and put it right beside the iPad/MK, wrist pain gone.

Using the iPad 12.9" Pro on a table/desk with the MK I have no wrist pain.

Although I do love my iPad/MK combo I will be looking closely at an ARM Apple laptop, that will have a larger trackpad built-in. Don't get me wrong, I'll always have use for an Apple tablet. But my recent attempt to resurrect an old 12" MacBook showed me that I miss a larger trackpad, and OS. For desk and lap use touchscreens have "jumped the shark" for me :p

I 1000% agree with you mate! I’m really conflicted since I love that 120hz screen. I tried my old MacBook Air and it honestly looked horrible and janky. However the freedom of Mac OS and the huge trackpad honestly is tempting me to switching back when the time comes. Especially when they release the 12” ARM MacBook.

Got my old, dying 12” Macbook on my second home/work desk. I can’t bring myself to re-cycle bin it yet, though I know I will. Of course it wasn’t perfect. Kind of slow, especially compared to my 2018 iPad, but geez I love the low weight, and beautiful look and dimensions of the old 2015 12”!

I placed my closed MK iPad on top of it on my desk, then hefted each. I said hmmm out loud. I hope the new ARM 12” has cellular .
