I'm tying this one to Monteray since I just upgraded a week and a half ago and hadn't previously had this problem.
Basically I only use my MM2 intermittently, although it stays on my desk at home and sometimes connects when I'm in another room/different floor.
When I actually get to my desk, though, and sit down with my dock/full set up, when I first use my MM2 it will work as a pointing device but nothing but clicking(left click) works with it. I don't get contextual clicks, scrolling, or any other gestures I have set up on it. Going into system preferences shows those all enabled.
The cure I've found is to power off the mouse then power it back on, at which point it works fine when it connects.
I suppose the solution is just to remember to turn it off when I leave my desk, but this is a problem that, again, I can only seemingly tie to Monteray.
Has anyone else seen this?
