Hi all,
recently I replaced my USB mice (?) by Magic Mice 2: great: no cable, no batteries.
But, intermittently the click is not received by several kinds of programs and double click
fails often: I have to repeat the double with various intervals (slower, faster).

At the same time I upgraded from OSX to macOS; coincidence?
The same condition exists on 3 different machines.
What can it be?

It's worth bearing in mind that a few people have mentioned some problems with the MM working consistently with Sierra. However as the issue is consistent between different computers, that makes troubleshooting a little easier as the problem is isolated to the mouse.

I'd begin by returning the Magic Mouse and getting a new one, then see if the problem persists. If it doesn't fix it, it's almost certainly software. If it does fix it, no need to worry.

As each of those machines now has an MM .........
Got to get used to it, I think; or await the next macOS update.
