Magic Mouse 2 isn't recognised

Hey,

I have an Early 2008 24 inch iMac and I use Magic Mouse 2. I had to format my OS and install OS X Mavericks because newer OS slows down the computer.
The problem is that the OS recognise the mouse as Mighty mouse and not as Magic Mouse and I can't scroll down or up. Does anybody know how can I solve this?

System Requirements
Bluetooth-enabled Mac computer with OS X v10.11 or later.

10.11 means El Capitan.
