I just received the Magic Mouse 2 Space Black. The look of it is amazing, very sharp. I set everything up and it synced flawlessly. I like the extra gestures it can do over regular mice.

However, whenever I clicked on anything, the arrow or even the page would shift upwards a bit, as if I were sliding my finger upwards when pressing down. As a result, it would only succeed in clicking about 50% of the time. I thought it was user-error because I was pushing my finger in some way or touching another part of the mouse when clicking but no matter how sensitive I pushed it, it would bounce before (maybe) clicking. Using it in my design software was torture.

Anyone else having issues? It could still be my error. If anyone has any suggestions or has experienced the same thing, any info or advice would help.

Yep! You’ll come across this every once in a while. Especially in Illustrator and what not. Since the entire top is a touch surface, it can register you lifting your finger to click as a little bump in the scrolling motion as well. I’ve been able to negate it with mine by slowing down a smidge with it.

Thanks for your input and I'm glad it's not just me. I would be okay if it did that once in a while, but this happened about 85% of the time, even when I slowed down. It very well might just be my own habit or behavior, but I don't know if I'll have the patience to retrain my mouse usage. I might try a few other mice at the Apple Store to see if it's just me or if it was the mouse. Thanks!

Apple's mouse is shiiit, that's why a lot of people buy something else if they want a mouse.
