Hi,

anyone else here, whose Magic Mouse 2 white top can be pushed left and right easily? Mine can and also makes a sound, doing it.
My Magic Mouse 1 is much "tighter". can only be moved a little..

Got the wife and me two of the 2s. Much smoother over a mouse pad.

Sounds like you need to take that mouse back for replacement.

Thanks for your help guys. I will send it back for replacement

I also have a "wobbly" Magic Mouse 2. If pushed very gently on the side, it tilts to the right. It's very noticeable. I took it back to the Apple Store and immediately got handed a new one, but this new mouse actually has the exact same behaviour! I'm wondering whether this wobbliness might be intended 'by design' or that I just have had some bad luck.

My first Magic Mouse 2 had a small gap between the top part and the button inside (0.1~0.2 mm). When I scrolled or used other gestures it felt like a small click. The replacement one doesn't have this click problem, but the top part is wobbly.
The first one wasn't, the top part didn't move from side to side.

Mine does exactly the same. Although it is not noticeable at all. I was just checking if everything was alright when i pushed it pretty forced to the other side and it moved 1mm or so.
I thought they had sold me a used one or smth lol
