Magic Mouse 2

I have an 2019 iPad Air 3rd generation. I want to get a Magic Mlouse 2, I would like to know if the Gestures, swiping and scrolling will work. I can only find reviews on iPad Pro and know the gestures work on the pro.
I have a Magic Mouse 1 but know the gestures don’t work. I like using a mouse on the iPad, Gestures is the only thing missing. Other than that it’s great.

I just tried my MM2 and Air 3 and gestures and scrolling did work. I am on 13.5.1
