Saw on Twitter that there was Magic Mouse stock at the SF apple store, biked over and picked one up. I've had the Mighty Mouse and Wireless Mighty Mouse for years and despite the track ball problems and very out dated feel of the mouse, it did some great things.
As far as touch, weight, texture, ergonomics and usability of the hardware, Magic Mouse is great. I just hope that Apple releases software updates in the very near future that enable center button pushes and some kind of Desktop expose gesture. This is a huge step back in my opinion.
Oh and don't tell me that I can program my keyboard or apple trackpad. I know this but I've been spending the last 3 years with mighty mouse using the same workflow day after day and this just sucks.
- Side buttons I had set to "desktop" in Expose I could grab a file and drag it to a window.
- Middle Button would show all windows.
