I recently changed out the batteries in my magic mouse. The batteries in my keyboard and trackpad are the originals from when I bought my iMac in June. Yet, the Keyboard and trackpad show 60% and 52% battery life, respectively, but the MM is down to just 10%. I use the trackpad about as much as I use the MM. Is it normal for the MM to go through batteries this fast?

i use re-chargeble ones in mine but have to charge them monthly, seems high on battery drain.

Yup...1-2 months is typical if you use the mouse almost everyday.

This is part of the reason why Apple now sells the Apple rechargeable battery charger with battery. It costs $29, but comes w/ 6 batteries. Yea, it seems like a lot of money, but rechargeable batteries do cost that much if bought seperately.

For me, I bought a Sony charger that came w/ 2 batteries for around $9 on Amazon.
