Guys - I have faced lag on my Magic Mouse cursor moving not too smooth at all. So far disconnected cordless phone, moved phone and AirPods out of room and it hasn't helped. The problem comes & goes and after a reboot, it usually doesn't come back for a few hours. I do have a Sabrent enclosure with a 7200 RPM HDD connected to the USB/TB port only 1/2 an inch away. Could that possibly be an issue? Any other troubleshooting steps I should undertake?

Thanks

USB 3.0 devices definitely can interfere... best bet since it comes & goes, is when you notice it eject & unplug the drive. If that cures the problem, see if you can relocate it. Even a few inches could help.

The cursor sometimes gets laggy and unresponsive using the combo of my M2 Air and Magic trackpad.

If I turn Bluetooth off at the computer (using the Air's built-in trackpad), wait 5 seconds, then turn it back on again, the problem is gone.
