Hello!

I have had the Apple Magic mouse since it came out, and now I am finding that the batteries are dying faster than usual. I am using standard AA batteries, not rechargeables. What do you think could be the problem?

Thanks so much!:)

No way to know but could be that the mouse will not go into power save mode. Try turning the mouse off manually for a time when you are not using it for a time to see if it will last longer.

This or maybe the batteries you're buying are not Energizers.

The only thing I can recommend short of purchasing a new magic mouse is turning your mouse off when not using it.

Hold the mouse over the garbage can and tell it to stop misbehaving or else!! Oddly enough that worked on a few laptops once. Always worth a try.
