I believe my Magic Mouse is causing my computer to lock. This happened for a short time a little after I purchased the mouse and then it went away. Within the last couple days it has started up again.
I was using Photoshop CS5 yesterday and it decided to lock on me when I went between programs. I would get the spinning rainbow thinking icon, but it didn't go away. I could go up to my top right bar and it would turn back into a pointer, but I could not click anything...no right click, no left click.
When my computer goes to sleep it also locks and i check the bottom of my mouse and it is off as well. I can only hit ESC to wake my computer up, but it doesn't do anything. I turn my mouse off then back on and click and it just blinks.
Originally I thought it was BTT, but i disabled it and it still locked. I changed my batteries, did an SMC restart and a PRAM reset, checked and repaired permissions (even verified my disk). I used CleanMyMac as well.
Software is all up to date for Snow Leopard. I cannot figure this out, could anyone please help me here...I don't want to keep having to turn my computer off by holding down the power button and I'm worried I could be negatively effecting my hard drive by doing that so often.
I do realize that this could also be a result of something else and not my mouse, any help would be greatly appreciated.
