I have the silver 24'' iMac and it came with a Magic Mouse whose rubber bands are light gray to match the iMac, however the mouse they sell on Apple's website is still the "old" one with the black rubber bands. What happens if I need to replace it? The rubber bands won't match the iMac! It's even worse for people who have iMacs in other finishes. Is Apple planning to sell the mouse in different finishes matching the iMac's? Does anyone know?

Edit: as for the "rubber bands", I mean the strips under the mouse...

What rubber bands do you mean?
Not sure what it's called... Those strips under the mouse. Like the ones in the picture. Those are light blue, mine are light grey, they match the iMac color. However as I said Apple is only selling the mouse in silver and with black strips, that is, the one that came with the previous gen. iMacs.

You can phone Apple Care and buy them if you ever need to replace them for your iMac. They just don’t sell them currently through the site and will only let you buy one if you have that specific iMac.
