Hello Macrumor Forums
I've been having some serious problems with my Magic Mouse. It's been revolting against my MBP with everything it's got.
It always disconnects at the most important of times. My Magic Mouse can't connect with my MBP for more than 5 minutes. It always disconnects, and puts that annoying Disconnected sign. It was always like this, but these days, it got much more serious.
Any reasons and solutions to my problem?

Faulty Bluetooth? Bad batteries? Certainly not normal behavior. My magic mouse never disconnects on its own. If its been like this you should have exchanged it for a new one.

A disconnecting Magic Mouse can have numerous causes. Try these solutions:
- use different batteries
- do a NVRAM and PRAM reset
- in Bluetooth settings, mark your Magic Mouse as favorite
- clean the battery contacts
