Magic Mouse Issues / Warranty

Hi Guys,

Anybody know if a Magic Mouse that came with my 27" iMac falls under the machines 12 month warranty ?

My mouse seems to have developed a problem where it only seems to work on dark surfaces that come in close contact with the bottom of the mouse. :-/

I'm presuming it may well be a problem with one of the lasers ?

Magic Mouse is count as included accessory so yes, it is covered.
