Magic Mouse issues

After I upgraded to the latest OS my mouse it’s terribly laggy in Apps like photoshop. It also stutters when I’m doing something intensive. Never had this issue before. I already tried a SMC Reset and PRAM reset. This is on a MBP 2016 fully loaded. I tried a old windows mouse and that seems to work fine. Please help as it’s affecting my editing.

Is this the 1st gen or 2nd gen Magic Mouse (batteries or lighting cable to charge)?
