Magic mouse model number?

- DIDNT KNOW WHERE TO PUT IT. -

Hello all. My new magic mouse was recently stoled at my school. Someone from class all of a sudden "after her birthday" got a new mouse. Is there a specific number for every mouse? Or is it just the model number? My case has the A1296 as number. Is that everyones magic mouses number?
