Magic Mouse moving sideways is now slow!

This just happened like 5 minutes ago, Every time i move my magic mouse sideways, its acting so slow. Its like the mac is super slow, but its not, its the Magic Mouse!! If i go Up and Down with the mouse its ok, and the tracking speed is at its default, even at 100% its still acting slow sideways! I Still own the late 2009 iMac.

Its been a day now and no replies?? Is there anyone who has a solution to this problem??? The problem is still happening, and getting annoying! Its like i cant even use the mouse anymore!!!!!

Sounds like the battery is low on the mouse. Have you tried recharging it?

i JUST recharged the batteries, The problem still persists!

I assume you've cleaned the laser and photo-sensor lenses.

I am blaming it on the latest Mountain Lion update that went along with iOS 6. Damn thing is way too slow. Batteries are fresh and report 82%. Clean sensor. Something happened.

I remembered what i did when i got my macbook a year ago. The latest update must have overwrote the preference.

To see your current value run:
defaults read -g com.apple.mouse.scaling

Mine was at 3, I want 10. So I ran:
defaults write -g com.apple.mouse.scaling 10

Restart it.
