Hi guys

Magic Mouse and MBP 2011.

I have the device paired and connected but I need to repeat the process every time I start my Mac or even wake it from sleep.

Specifically, if I goto
Bluetooth Icon (in top menu) > My Mouse > Connect
nothing happens even after several mins.

The only way I can get it to connect is to open Bluetooth preferences, remove the Mouse from the list of Devices and then re-pair when the mouse appears as a new available bluetooth device.

Thanks for the help.

I don't know if you've scoured the internet for an answer but it seems that some folks say that particular battery brands don't fit well in the mouse. They've put a bit of folded paper under the batteries so that they're a bit more snug. If you try this, go ahead and give the battery contacts a good wipe as well at the contacts inside the mouse.

Let us know if this works.
