Bought this yesterday as I've received a new M1 MBA for the new job I've got that starts on Monday (first salaried job for 12 years as I've been working for myself since 2009)!

Anyways...

Connected to both my M1 MBA and M1 Mini fine; but it will not scroll any pages on any app at all (Chrome, Safari, MS Word/Excel/Outlook etc)

Are there known issues with the Magic Mouse and the M1 Macs?

I tried all sorts to rectify it and nothing worked...

So TrackPad 2 ordered and on its way; the TrackPad 2 I have with my M1 Mini works faultlessly!

I doubt this would be it since you say your Trackpad 2 works, but check under System Preferences > Accessibility > Pointer Control > Mouse & Trackpad > Mouse Options to be sure scrolling is enabled.

It could be that you got a faulty mouse if it's working with neither computer but your trackpad is.

All the m1 iMacs come with mice and have no reported widespread issues, including mine. If anything the Magic Trackpad and it’s lag are more of an issue than the mouse.
