I have a macmini and macbook with magic mouse and apple trackpad. These are the earlier models which work with AA penlight batteries. Earlier both were working but now only the trackpad is working and the mouse is not responding even with new alkaline batteries. Kindly help me to get the magic mouse working.

Might seem obvious, but: are you certain the magic mouse is making a bluetooth connection to your computers?

If it really is broken, probably not worth it to attempt a repair.

Like others have recommended, time to look for a replacement.

I'd suggest something OTHER THAN another Apple mouse. Logitech might be a good place to start...;)
