I could be completely wrong, but as far as I know, only Logitech has the mice that work on glass, something they advertise quite heavily on their site and theirs ads.

I have noticed that there are other wireless laser mouse that can track on glass.

Why not the Magic Mouse?

That's a good question. It is annoying, I have a clipboard taped down to my nice desk to get my magic mouse to work. The glass is frosted, still doesent work.

I have a black glass desk from IKEA. I thought that since it isn't see through that the laser would work. But it doesn't.

Apple & Mice = NO GOOD :)

Just a hidden fact of truth !!

The mouse is great, slide scrolling, 2 finger swipe from left to right to go back and forward on web pages is very useful, fun, and easy to do.

The only thing lacking is tracking on glass otherwise it's great.

Glad you like it, Louie. I am thinking about getting one for my desktop when Lion comes out since it seems so trackpad oriented, and I do way too many things that I need precision control for to ditch a mouse altogether. I'm a little nervous because I despise the Apple mouse that I had, so seeing comments like yours helps.

Sorry about the glass problem. :(

Great comment and I don't think you will be disappointed.

You will find how thin the mouse is compared to others but you get used to it and actually enjoy the thinness.

As for the glass problem I feel Apple will address this with 1 more update to the mouse before we reach the era of the mouse going away.
