Magic Mouse only works in original iMac

My Magic Mouse only works in it's original iMac.
That is: turning the Mouse on while having Bluetooth enabled and "discoverable".
Please tell me what I need to do to get it to work in a MacBook Pro (and in which system I should do such procedure, and whether the Mouse should be turned on). This would be for Snow Leopard 10.6.8.

I think its because you have it paired to one computer and you cannot then pair it to another.

^^ As above. Take the batteries out, put them back in and then pair it to your other computer.
