Hello, next week I bought an iPad Pro M2 12.9 along with the Logitech Combo keyboard. I feel like I need a mouse but I've seen the Magic Trackpad option...

Which one do you recommend to me?

Thanks

I always learn towards trackpad as Apple has more gestures for it and their trackpads are always really good regardless.

If you are getting the Logitech Combo Keyboard... does it have a built in trackpad? If so, wouldn't a Magic Mouse be a better fit along side it?

For my set up, I have a Magic Trackpad instead of the Magic Mouse... but I only use the Magic Trackpad when I'm at the desk with my monitor. But as @Sheepish-Lord mentioned, Magic Trackpad provides gestures whereas it's nonexistent on the Magic Mouse.

The Logitech trackpad is too small... and the mouse really moves in some surfaces. The question I have left with the trackpad is whether it will be more difficult to handle than the mouse.

I tried both, and magic trackpad is more comfortable (along with iMac magic keyboard).

More difficult to handle? Can you elaborate on that… you mean to travel with? If anything… you’ll have to experience that for yourself.

I had the Magic Mouse for about a year… it was nice, nothing wrong with it. I just preferred gestures the Magic Trackpad provided.

If you are thinking about those situations where there's no mousepad-sized stable surface for a mouse, well, in those cases I think a mouse is better than the a trackpad. I consider the most extreme scenario to be when the only surface you have is your thigh and I prefer a mouse for that. It can actually work with as little as an inch and it's firmly held by your hand, while a trackpad really needs to be more stable or you'll flip it when you push the wrong part.
Have you considered something like the Logitech Anywhere? I'm not the greatest fan of the Magic Mouse (and, no, it's not because of that port, I'm the only person in the world to think it's a good design choice) and in my experience it only works acceptably on a perfect plane and the right surface. I think the only good thing for you about the Magic Mouse would be the horizontal scroll if you really need it. It also has a different charging port from your iPad.

Have you tried iPad magic keyboard? It has good trackpad, good keyboard and packed in small footprint. The minus points are no function key and quite expensive.
