Magic mouse quit working after security update

I just installed the latest security update for my imac and now my magic mouse doesn't work anymore. The cursor is stuck in the top left corner of the screen. Batteries are new. I've reset the SMC and PRAM. My imac is useless without a mouse as I can't open anything. I'm still running 10.6.8
