Magic Mouse repaired at Apple Store?

Do Apple Stores repair an out of warranty Magic Mouse or just swap it?

It seems as if a cuarter of the touch surface is stuck. I checked with the real time graphic of MagicPrefs and it seems as a ghost is permanently pressing that part so it messes with every gesture.

Do they repair it or am I better just getting a new one?

I think they will recycle yours and give you something like 5-10% discount for the new one. If it wasn't out of warranty they will just swap you a new refurbished one.
