Since upgrading to Lion, I have this annoying behaviour with Magic Mouse scrolling. Sometimes when trying to scroll, nothing happens. Trying a few times, maybe on the 2nd or 3rd attempt, the scroll will happen. This is particularly obvious in Safari, when the page is already scrolled, and I pause before scrolling further. I've not been able to figure out to reproduce it exactly, though. It might be worse when the scroll bars are set to show automatically based on input device, vs always showing.

The mouse was fine with Snow Leopard (and scrolling is still fine when using the trackpad (this is on a MBP). Has anyone else noticed this, and have any thoughts for fixing?

Cheers,
Stuart

yeah, same here, thought it was just me.
so i cleaned the mouse top surface (noticed it was a bit dirty looking)
-its been perfect ever since.
i wonder if it'l work for you.

Thanks, tried that with no luck. I also moved the MBP next to the mouse, in case it was a bluetooth interference problem, but still the same. I'm actually wondering if it's an issue with Safari, although I probably scroll like this more in Safari than anything else.
