Magic mouse shortage?

I seem to be struggling to find this in stock anywhere. I've just ordered one from apple online and they are quoting a 2 week wait for it.

None of the brick and mortar stores around me have any stock yet. The old mighty mouse is still hovering about in stores though.

Have you looked at other online stores such as Amazon?

It was released back in October though. It's only a mouse.

Amazon, Play.. etc seem to be out of stock.

I agree that there seems to be a major shortage. I have been busy looking for one in my area and haven't found one yet. I was going to order from the online Apple store but the latter part of the predicted delivery date is after I leave to go home for the Christmas break. I don't want it to go to my parents' home because it's supposed to be a gift.

According to Best Buy, there's one 90 minutes away but I'm not sure how accurate their store pick up thing is. I also don't want to drive that far out for a mouse.

I've seen a whole stack of them at my local Best Buy and the other day I saw there was nothing there anymore. Things are flying off the shelfs like hotcakes.
