Hello, I work in an office and a lot of the people around me use Magic Mouses (mice?). I personally dislike them so I'm using a logitech usb wireless mouse (the kind with the bluetooth dongle). Every now and again, I can't figure out what causes this, a mouse around me will auto connect with my computer and take over my mouse causing a headache. After about 5 minutes I get the connection lost screen and everything is back to normal. I know I can turn off bluetooth but I use that for other peripherals so I would rather not. Is there any way to prevent my mac from auto connecting to the other mice in the office?

Thank you for any help.

Connecting a magic mouse

If you have paired you Magic Mouse and find it wont connect automatically and you always have to connect manually.
Try switching your mouse on before powering up your macbook, if you do it that will it should alway connect.
Most people dont want their mouse battery on when not in use so the laptop is always switched first on before the Mouse comes out of your bag.
